The Children’s Choir is open to children in the first through sixth grades, and rehearses Sunday mornings from 9am-9:45am during the school year in the Choir Room with Minister of Music, Susan DeSelms. These children are actively learning new music each week to share with the congregation during worship. The children often sing on a monthly basis at the beginning of the 11am worship service. Each week, these enthusiastic and joyful singers develop their voices, learn to read printed music, gain a deeper understanding of the liturgical seasons and scripture lessons, and become more and more confident as worship leaders, and they always have fun making music together.
