● When have you leaned into curiosity recently?
● What is something you used to believe but no longer hold as true- what changed your mind? How did that impact the way you learn other things?
● Jesus’ teachings often challenged what people assumed or had even taught others about God, but each time Jesus challenged an assumption, God got bigger. Jesus challenged who was righteous, who was a neighbor, and even motivations for following rules. What have you learned that makes God bigger?
Spiritual practice for the week: brainstorm questions you still have about God, Jesus, life, creation, or reality. Pick one of these questions and think about how making God bigger might be a gift to yourself and others. Over the week, think about, pray about, and maybe even research the question. Be fearless and curious, even if you encounter perspectives that challenge or contradict your own ideas.
