This season, Thrifty Threads is partnering with The Cinderella Project to make young ladies’ princess dreams a reality! The Cinderella Project is a nonprofit organization that provides formal gowns and dresses to girls and women for prom, weddings, and other special occasions. From now until March 5, we are collecting formal dresses, shoes and accessories of all sizes. Currently, The Cinderella Project is most in need of plus size gowns, but all sizes are graciously accepted. THANK YOU to all those who attended the In-District Meeting with Sen. Creem and Reps. Vitolo, Balser, Khan and Peisch this past Monday evening at Union Church in Waban. There were 230 in attendance from 18 worship congregations and a few affiliated organizations active in housing and services to returning citizens, including 25 of us from the United Parish!
