Methodist Bishops take a stand on immigrant rights

The United Methodist Council of Bishops call upon us “to pray for migrants, immigrants, and refugees among us and to welcome them with the fullness of Christian love, remembering that as we welcome these, our brothers, and sisters, we welcome Jesus our Lord.” You can read the full letter here.
You may have also seen Mariann Edgar Budde, the Episcopal Bishop of Washington DC, make a direct plea to President Trump at the inaugural prayer service (story here).
We are also aware that ICE plans to target Boston among other cities for immigration crackdowns (story here). These times will call us to stand up in new ways for the worth and dignity of everyone.
