For our Martin Luther King Jr. Sunday act of service, all ages are invited to gather in the Parlor at 9:45am on Sunday, January 19 to make 120 bagged lunches for our outdoor urban ministry partner,
common cathedral. We will bless the lunches in our morning worship, and depart around 11:30am to serve at common cathedral (rain, snow, or shine!)
If you’d like to contribute supplies, please sign up here by the end of the day on Wednesday January 15. There is no RSVP needed to attend the sandwich-making or the common cathedral service itself!
Children 5th grade and under must attend with a parent or other designated adult; youth 6th grade and up may attend as part of the general United Parish delegation, provided that parents arrange to either pick their youth up from Boston Common, or give them permission to return on their own via public transportation.
