On Thursday, September 7, starting at 6:30 PM, Temple Beth Zion (1566 Beacon Street, Brookline) is hosting, in their Sanctuary, two terrific authors…
The panel will be moderated by Pulitzer Prize Finalist Abdallah Fayyad from the Boston Globe.
Both Mr. Rothstein and Ms. Crockett have a lot for us to learn from about citizen action and housing. Both their books show how community groups can fight back against policies that imposed racial segregation, and how to take responsibility for undoing America’s discriminatory role in housing in this country.
The event is open to all, but you do have to register.
United Parish, Temple Sinai, and the GBIO Brookline Team are co-hosting, along with Abundant Housing of MA, a statewide housing advocacy group.
The event is free, starting with a reception (hors d’oeuvres, wine and beer) at 6:30 in the Community Room, and the panel discussion beginning in the Sanctuary at 7:30 sharp.
